JDUNBOUND / YOUR PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2026

JDUnbound is an educational content brand operated by Jide Dawodu at jdunbound.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, email signups, social channels, lead forms, purchases, and related communications.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, messages, signup preferences, and information submitted through lead capture forms. If you buy a resource or book a service, our providers may process transaction, billing, and booking details. Payment providers handle payment credentials; please do not send card details to us by email. We and our providers may also collect IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referral sources, cookie identifiers, and email engagement such as opens or clicks, depending on the tools enabled. Please avoid submitting sensitive health details or information about other people through public comments or signup forms.

2. How we use information

We use information to deliver requested resources, send educational content and marketing emails, respond to questions, manage purchases and bookings, maintain records, protect the site, and understand how content performs. Where required, marketing is based on your consent. Other processing may be needed to fulfill a request or contract, comply with law, or support legitimate operational interests, subject to applicable privacy rights. We do not use your information to provide a clinical diagnosis.

3. Third-party tools and sharing

We share information with providers as needed to deliver our services. Kit (formerly ConvertKit) supports email subscriptions, resource delivery, and marketing; Gumroad supports digital product purchases and delivery; ManyChat supports messaging automations and lead collection; and TikTok lead generation forms collect information you choose to submit on TikTok. Calendly supports session scheduling. Hosting, payment, and other operational providers may also process information. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy, and some may act as independent controllers. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell email lists for money. Whether particular advertising or platform disclosures are considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising depends on the tools used and applicable law.

4. Cookies and tracking

The site and embedded third-party tools may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for functionality, security, preferences, analytics, or marketing. Email tools may use tracking pixels and link tracking. Third-party embeds may collect information when loaded or used. You can manage cookies through your browser and use available platform privacy settings; blocking some technologies may affect features. Where legally required, nonessential technologies require consent. This policy does not itself enable a consent banner or change your browser settings.

5. Email choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. We may still send necessary transactional messages about a purchase, booking, or request. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete records we must retain for legal or operational purposes.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including managing subscriptions, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and maintaining appropriate business records. Retention varies by record type and provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system, internet transmission, or storage method is completely secure.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. Some rights have exceptions. Submit a request using the contact information below. We may verify your identity, and an authorized agent may need to show authority. We will respond within legally required timeframes. If a request is denied, you may contact us to appeal where applicable. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising rights.

8. International processing

Our providers may store or process information outside your state or country, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards apply to international transfers. Contact us with questions about the handling of your information.

9. Children and external links

Our content and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. External websites and platforms have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated where required. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact Jide Dawodu, JDUnbound, at [YOUR EMAIL].
